Brett Jovanovich joined the Woolacotts Engineering team in 2006 as an apprentice Drafter, and has since been promoted to a variety of roles, currently the Woolacotts CAD Manager. Brett leads a team of 8 passionate and effective BIM Modellers, and has managed BIM and CAD drafting services on a range of projects.
Brett initially completed a Certificate III in Drafting Trades, and progressed to a Structural Drafter within the Woolacotts team in 2010. In 2012, Brett was promoted to CAD Manager, with responsibilities including managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Woolacotts drafting team in the production of AutoCAD and Revit drawings, and associated documentation for various client projects.
With a growing move towards BIM, I have focused on developing a highly effective team of BIM Modellers to execute a variety of structural and hydraulic projects including education, industrial and aviation, health and aged care, community infrastructure, multi-storey residential and justice and emergency projects.”
Over his 12 years working in the Woolacotts team, Brett has been responsible for the implementation of Autodesk Revit, including establishing office standards, structural and hydraulic families and drafting procedure manuals.

In 2016, Brett was presented with the Woolacotts Consulting Engineers Excellence Award to acknowledge his contribution and dedication not only to the internal team, but also the larger client base. Brett has lead the CAD services on a wide range of large scale projects, including the following:
