Woolacotts have provided structural engineering design and consultancy on the new bell tower erected at Holy Name Parish, in Wahroonga. Construction of the bell tower was completed last month, with Father David Ranson of Holy Name Parish holding a mass to celebrate the new bell with the church community on the 28th of October, 2018.
Stephen Branch, Woolacotts Operations Director stated:
Community is a big part of our company values, and we were happy to be able to assist the local church in bringing their new bell tower to life. It’s great to see the excitement from the Parish and local community members around construction of the new bell tower which will now serve as an important part of their daily services.”

Woolacotts worked closely with Equilibria Architects to develop a tower that was structurally sound, functional and matched the overall design of the church building itself. By using a mix of steel, timber and concrete, the bell tower has been designed in a way to ensure longevity, in order to service the church for years to come.
