Woolacotts is again supporting economic growth in regional Australia, this time it’s the structural, civil and hydraulic design for a new 105 bed vertical village aged care facility in Port Macquarie NSW. “We love projects in regional parts of Australia”, said Kevin Christessen, Principal Engineers of Woolacotts. “I recall the work we did for Port Base Hospital and UNSW Rural Medical School on a nearby site. At the time I had a funny feeling more associated health projects would soon follow”.
The proposed development at 1 Highfields Circuit was designed by Perumal Pedavoli and comprises three interconnected buildings and over the top of a basement carpark. Port Macquarie – Hastings Council is currently reviewing the $17 million proposal.
