Alpha Flight Services is an award-winning in-flight catering company with operations throughout Australia, Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.
The company provides catering for many well-known airlines, including Emirates, Etihad, Garuda and Virgin.
Several projects
Woolacotts Consulting Engineers was engaged by Total Construction on behalf of Alpha Flight Services to provide consulting engineering services for several projects around Australia.
Two of these projects included extensions to existing catering facilities at Brisbane and Perth airports.
Our scope
Woolacotts undertook the design and documentation of the structural and civil engineering portions of the projects and our local engineers provided services during construction including site inspections.
The facilities contain:
— Freezer rooms for snap freezing
— Secure rooms for duty free
— Rooms for packaging meals
— Bays for specialist catering trucks
Continued operations
As open and fully functioning facilities, the continued operations of the Perth and Brisbane branches were critical throughout the projects.
